You have to gap just about any plug.
you do not gap iridiums. the wire is too fine and will be damaged by any gapping.

run the iridiums right out of the box.

they are not needed. just coppers are fine

autolite AP 764 platinums are direct replacement and are a damn fine plug for platinum

APP 764 is double platinum
