my 99 V6 5speed with intake & dual exhaust should be able to take the celica GTS right??????

Ok, let me elaborate on my first post -

Celica GTS will beat you (trust me)

You will beat Celica GT (Friend has an auto, we raced)

The 5.0 is a 70/30 shot. You always have the chance of a bad driver, and the wear and tear on the car reduces performace (no matter what anyone else tells you ). My front bumper was equal with my friends door when we raced, and he has a '93 5.0 Cobra.

I think the only realistic win you have is the Celica GT, with the chance to beat the 5.0. Although the GTS makes virtually no horsepower, it is as light as a sack of **** in space.
sadly. no

ok internet racer... the foxes you beat, were they 4cyls?

because i had a bone stock fox, with 140,000 miles and the motor was abused all its life, had lost some compression over the years, and i had on heavy *** 17" wheels, the jack, spare, fully loaded car, a/c, everything... and it went 14.8x, that was bone stock with huge wheels and no grip. take a bone stock new edge v6, with even 5 miles on it, aint gona run a 14.. im not saying every fox will run 14s, but they NEVER run over 15.5 at the verrrrrrrrrrry slowest, and thats the VERY fastest, ive heard of a new edge v6 running, very huge longshot for you to beat multiple foxes, especially since nobody leaves their fox stock. anyways.. you can keep claiming drivers race all you want... but even if you are john force and its a 90 year old lady in the fox, you wont win.. higher numbers, less weight, how can u think u can beat it.. u have nothing going for you.

and to clear up the whole 225 hp rating, yes foxes were rated at 225hp 300tq, and in the last years they didnt drop power numbers.. it was the first numbers were dynoed without accesories, with the car and serpentine belt going, it was pulled back to around 215ish.

Its a screwup, they weigh the same.

Exactly the same car with very minor mods.

yep. You're retarded. Why is this so hard to believe? That an '86 5.0L hatch got dusted by some kid in a 3.9L mustang? That the same happened to a guy in a '87-'88 LX that cant row through a 5 spd for sh*t? Are you THAT naive as to think that a 5.0L CANT be beaten? And I WILL claim drivers race, just as i dont believe you pulled a 14.8xx on a ragged motor, loaded to the rafters, with "no grip". Get off your high horse, i know what i've done. It isnt like i said i ran a Terminator.

I find that hard to believe. Remember, anybody can make a dyno read anything they want. They dyno can also be off if they plug in just one wrong number. I proved that with my cousin and his Ranger show truck.
well i quoted you so u were watching it to, i know that

A 3800 go's from high 15's-16's to 14's with just CAI and Exaust?
no they run low 15s stock at my track

also, 302s were rated at 280 ft/lbs last i checked, and they also have 2.73 gears, go bakc to the 5.0 section if your just here to cause trouble
