Car turned to **** last night, *Update* NEed clutch

you realize a new clutch won't do anything for acceleration right? the only difference between stock, stage I, stage II, etc. is the amount of power they hold. unless your clutch was slipping really badly your acceleration will be the same, the only reason to get a higher stage is to hold more power. the only way you would get more power, or i should say free up more power, is by getting the aluminum flywheel and that will lower your rotational mass and free up some power.

Exactly. But lets PLEASE not turn this thread into a debate about parents paying for parts.
My friend got a stage 1, and had said he noticed a signifigant difference in acceleration. Plus my parents are helping me take out a loan to pay for a turbo/supercharger, so i will need the improved clutch to handle the power im currently working toward.
Edit: Also, i was wondering if there were any pedal adjusters i can buy to fix how far back the clutch pedal needs to go to catch because i HATE how far back our stangs clutchs go.

Yeah, people complain. But, if you have the means, use them...
How will that stage II improve your car?

oh, you clearly don't know that deezelnut races skylines and beats them, despite a bent connecting rod in his n/a 350 crank hp v6. his advice is basically worthless. I dunno why he isn't still banned, probably cause he would just create another user name and come back under the radar even if we banned him.

actually because a better clutch grabs more it does help transfer power faster and more effeciently, which might improve acceleration by a little bit.

Oh hell ya. Im commited to a supercharger, hell or high water. The store ripped us off though, the freakin clutch was 500 ****ing bucks, when it was only 350 online. Oh well, it was the only clutch i could get overnight, and as long as it doesnt go over 1200 for parts and installation then im set. They said it would be 700 to install... so im set
But over the next few months im deffinitally preping the car for an 11 psi supercharger. Including things like 4.10s and tru trac. Anything else that would be wise to get to prep the car for the power?
