Default Short throw/Short shift Shifters

I've been reading up on these and it seems that everybody that has one likes them, and now I really would like to get one, but I dont know which one. I drove in my buddys 98 eclipse today and it had a real smooth shifter and there gears where really close together. Also, will the shifter some how in anyways give me more reach so that I dont have to stress my arm as far out to grab hold of the stick?

I HIGHLY recomend the MGW shifter, its adjustable and sets it back further for us long legged folks.
Its not as smooth as an Eclipse or most other imports, those suckers are just plain smooth. One thing that I wouldnt doubt that helps is the perfect clutch engagment with the hydrolic slave cylinder.

MGW all the way
When you buy one search for a T5 one cause thats what our sixers have.

I recomend the Steeda Tri Ax shifter. But I don't know how the MGW shifter is. The Tri Ax has been great for the month or so I have had it on. Smooth shifts into each gear, adjustable length so you can sit further back in seat, really short throw into each gear.

I would have to say the Tri-Axe is my 2nd best friend

I like the MGW best though for its adjustability to suit people who slid the seat all the way back, still were cramped and did the seat mod going back 3" futher than stock... Ya its a long reach up there to 5th LMFAO!!!

I do have to agree without even trying the MGW tht the Tri Ax is 2nd to it cause i still sit a little further forward then I should so I can reach all the gears. [&:]

but on the steeda tri ax I do sometimes have a little trouble getting it into reverse. there is some reason once in awhile that it will only go into reverse halfway. So i have to take it out and put it into reverse again and it goes in all the way. But it maybe just my stopper.?

MGW, Steeda, and Pro 5.0 are gonna be your best shifters.

I have the steeda and it's great.
