For the shocks and struts , do we have to specify the height difference because of the travel changes ordoes the standard replacement brands compensate for this???

There is a nitch in the top of the shock shaft that you have to wedge something in, like a large flathead screwdriver, then just use a wrench to spin it loose, it may also have an allen style hole in it, in which you'll have to use an allen wrench to hold the shaft in place. With an impact it takes about 2 seconds, by hand, maybe 30 lol.

It depends on a few things. In my write-upI actually cut Bilstien springs, so the ride was the exact same. When I originally cut my factory springs it was a little more harsh, but that is what I wanted, the car really "felt the road."
The more you drop it, the more harsh it's going to be because by removing coils, you are removing "springy-ness."

i know that fox body shocks/struts will work for our cars and i have probably asked this before but if i bought a decent set of replacement springs for a fox, would i get a decent ride out of them combined with my eibach pro's??
i currently have shocks/struts wil 140k highway miles, i know they must be shot!!
