average driver drives 12-15k a year not 6-8. so the savings would be about twice what you estimate.

I think I'm gunna go for the CIA/Filter.

Any opinions on good CIAs/Filters?

They will all do the same thing and the gains are mostly the same.
I think mac's bolt up easily and are good quality.
