subframe conectors and other strengthening mods...
Alright... at the end of the summer I was planning on turboing my car.. well a friend of mine pointed out... my car is getting really old... and proceeded to point out things that were going to go wrong if I add too much power with out strengthening it. SOOOOoooo... I have to put off the turbo in lue of making my car last longer.
If I put subframe conectors, replace control arms, K-member, and suspension will these things prolong the life of my car? I'm also looking for suggestions as what all to do... thanks for any help in advanced.

im always for suspension. you can have all the power in the world but if u cant send it to the floor it is useless. in terms of prolonging the life of the car, suspension does really do much. It will help the chasis from flexing. in terms of overall reliability, suspension itsnt much. i added dual oil coolers, colder thermostat and heat wrapped my headers.that will help the life of the engine.

theres alot of things you can do to prolong your car as kipp say suspension isn't just it...oil coolers would work, raidator cooler, thermostats, heat wrapped headers, on time oil changes, annual tune ups, theres alot of things you can do since you want to go turbo...you should look into strengthenin you bottom end and get forged internals also you might wanna re-do your rearend with a trutrac and some gears so you can put the power to the pavement wen your turbo is on
