I have a 95 v6 stang. I've always wondered if i can buy a used or remanufactured eaton 90 supercharger from a thunderbird and put it in my stang. Would it be extremely difficult? I figure the engines are somewhat the same and i just found one for $300 on ebay with all the hoses. Has anyone done that? Any help would be appreciated.

I dont know for certain, but I dont see why they wouldnt be. I mean, its the same V 3.8 rwd engine. The only difference I would see is maybe the emissions system could be different? I really dont know and probably shouldn't have posted anything lol.

If I am not mistaken, you will need to change the manifold as well. Also do some custom plumbing.

Always remember when doing these things, there is more work to be done than appears at first glance.

also remember that SCs have forged internals..... Probaly better flowing/strongerheads also.

Not that it can't be done. Just, once again, be ready for some work.

I used to have a 94 SC and that was one fun *** car. Good luck if you do it

I used to own a tbird... actually I traded it in yesterday for my mustang... and I couldn't use a mustang supercharger for the bird so I would have to think that the other way around doesn't work either.
