suvs weigh 4400 lbs....The weight entered in your regerstration is just an estimate....the person that gave u your estimate was way off...trust me I work with that stuff daily.

lol you are misinformed. a stock 5-speed v6 weighs in at just under 3100 lbs. Hell an automatic convertible GT doesn't even get close to 4000 lbs.

Factory-to-dealer shipping weight on my 2000 5-speed V6 was actually 2995lb, surprisingly enough.
That ~4400lb isn't the actual weight, it's the gross weight which includes having (4) 150lb people in the car, full fluids, etc. It's basically the maximum total weight of the car plus cargo.

why would you replace the interior with CF if you're trying to save weight. THere's no piont in ripping everything out and then replacing it with CF unless you're going for the look, because its gonna be expensive and why remove stuff, and then add weight back, just gut the interior and leave it.

There's a guy that goes by "BlueWaterDemon" or something like that on 3.8mustang who has a lot of weight-reduction type stuff done on his single-port. Couldn't hurt to ask him about it.
