changing out middle console?
 
i was just woundeirng i have a 96 mustang and i wanted to kno if it was possible to take out my middle ocnsole and put in like a 02 or 03 middle console...just woundering

Yeah, you should be able to. Ive seen a few people do it b/c they wanted the cupholders. I do believeall the mounting placesare identicle.

now to do this am i going to change out the whole console like where my shifter and radio is too? cuz isnt the middle console for like an 03 one whole piece

no, they are seperate just like yours. it will fit right in no problem at all.

i didnt know a 1996 didnt have cup holders my 98 does

i have one it comes out of the middole glove carpartment...its stupid i dont like it...thts y i want the 03 or so...how much do you think it would cost to buy and install it

you can instal it, it would be stupid to have somebody do it for you. they are actually pretty damn expensive. if you get one from ford you will pay hundreds, if you find one on ebay probably like 80-100.
