well last week had some new kuhmo asx 275/40/17's put on the rear and wow i know they are new tires but when i turn now it feels super mushy and when i jerk the wheel left to right it almost feels like the car is floating in the rear...so whats the problem here? i have a 99 v6 5spd stang lowered 2in all around with 03 cobra rims and 245/45/17's up front... thanks!

give them alittle time to wear in. i never liked running 245's up front with 275's out back. it makes the car want to plow through turns. once you get the tires worn in alittle it should handle better. i would suggest going to at least 255's up front though i run 275's all the way around but with your drop 265's may be the widest you can run up front
