anti theft question
i recently bought a 98 sixxer because my 96 gt was hit and totaled. the thing is that the 98 sixxer i bought had the whole teering column busted from someone trying to steal it from the lady. she didnt really drive the car anymore so she didnt want to fix it. i bought it for cheap thinking the swap would be easy. boy was i wrong. first i swapped the steering column. then i had to swap over the anti theft pieces on the column and under the dash. come to find out that there is a module in the trunk as well on my 96 gt. when i went to swap the module out of the 98 sixxer, there was nothing there. not even the wires and plug as if there wasnt one there. could there be a difference in location from my 96 gt and the 98 sixxer? please help. ford said it will cost my $800 to fix.
