my cel stays on, took the converters off and didnt put two of the 4 sensors back in. i hope this is the problem and i promise you, i will never use any type of bosch products
And thats the other half of your problem.
He could be right , which 02 sensors did you leave out ? & did you bung up the holes or are they already blanked off ?

the two closest to the motor were put back in but the back two wasnt. i took off the converters which the back two were screwed in and replaced it with strait pipe.from wat i understand it wont hurt anything jus makes the cel stay on but i could be wrong. theyve been out for atleast a yr. dont see why it would all a sudden start afecting the car now

You need MIL elims.... or a tuner to turn the rear 02 sensors off.

O.K. then, but now since your CEL is on, you probably dont know if any new codes have appeared ?
This could give you a clue as to what is going on. I'd suggest, go to Autozone & pull the codes, then post them back here. We might be able to help you better, instead of you spending money on wild guessing ?

No, to get codes with OBD2 you need a scantool. Some autostores will do it for free. It will also tell you that your rear 02 sensors are not working.
