acceleration problem
i did some research on this be4 i posted this but never found what any1 did to fix the problem.
any time i go over 2 grand my car runs like its running out of fuel, spittin and sputerin, but runs fine under 2 grand. my guess its the fuel pump. but i was jus hopin some1 knew exactlywat the problem was so i could fix it. im really hopein its not the fuel pump
my car used to only do this when i was on empty, has been doin this for awhile. when i would feel my tank back up it would run fine till i was on e again. but now it does it no matter how much fuel i have. i have also been getting really bad gas mileage.

RE: acceleration problem
Yeah, its called the Ignition switch... The only gas that will come out is whats in the filter, and a little bit of whats in the lines.
If you have never done one before let us know and someone will give ya the steps

RE: acceleration problem
It seems to me I'm having the same problem as well.
I figured it would of been an electrical problem.
So I'm going to change wires & plugs this weekend seeing how I have to go a step colder for the N2O.
But now that I saw this it has been a yr since I changed the fuel filter.
How would I go about changing the fuel filter?
Thanks!

RE: acceleration problem
in the process of changin my fuel filter right now, but ofcourse u gotta have a fuel line disconnect tool to take it off. so now i get to go back to the parts store to spend more money. im crossin my fingers that this is the problem, but im sure it wont be. to cheap and easy for this to fix my car

How much does the fuel line disconnect tool cost?
Got a picture?

like a ducks bill it slides over the fuel line and releases a cone retainer. pull once it is pushed all the way in as far as you can push. sometimes it's hard as hell to do but usually it's easy.
you will get alittle fuel spray and drippage but not that bad. fuel filter is the first thing to change in such a situation. afterthat plugs and wires. if that doesn't solve it fuel pressure regulator then the fuel pump
