2000 Passengers Side Window Stopped
I noticed that my passengers side window was always slower than the drivers side. Then it would work on and off. Now it has stopped working completely. Nothing happens when I use the divers side or the passengers side button. I have looked around and some places say it could just be a fuse, others say I need a new regulator. Is there any way to check specifically what needs replacement? Thanks for the help

A slow moving window is either the window binding in the window tracks, or the window motor not getting enough power (die to low voltage getting to the motor, or a bad ground not letting the juice flow). Since it stopped working all together my guess would be an electrical problem. Good luck...

My car does this from time to time. Press the up button while simultaneously punching the hell out of the door panel between the door handle and little pocket on the bottom. Might have to do it a couple times.

Our passenger window stops moving, and gives a clicking noise. Believe it's the nylon gear slipping in the regulator motor. Passenger rear quarter window not working at all, and driver rear quarter window epoxy let go from metal bracket connecting to mechanism. Only working window presently is driver's--guess that's a good thing, though. continuing investigations today.

All four windows operational now, although passenger is still doing the clicking thing. If my former '93 Ranger is an indication, I'll probably wait for the motor to die before replacing it. But at least I can get all windows up/down now.
One step closer to being ready for top-down days. Cool.
