Default 9000 or 11.0000 rpms

i am not sure what rpm,s my 418,000.00 mile motor hit when it had 70,000 miles on it i went around a semi on the right in the merge lane when i got by him i swung in front of him over to the passing lane to flip off the driver that was holding up traffic on purpose when i went to grab fourth gear i pulled it into second by mistake that was not good the rearend lit up throwin me sideway's in front of both them thanks for my driving skills from year's of racing that help me get out of that mess. like isaid the motor must of hit 9000 to11,000rpms that motor should have blowin up then [i can not believe you can put this in second gear any time you want. but you can. that is not right] oh i fogot to tell you i was runnin at least 100 mph when this all went down

You really need to learn how to type. Those periods in the middle of sentences make no sense.

And if your motor ever hit 9000 RPM's, it would have gone boom. I doubt you hit past 6 grand. I think the V6 rev limiter is in the high 5000's or something.

even if you did. It would only blow if you kept in lower gear for to long but if you shifted out quick enough fine but its bad on tranny and if you keep doing it will put ware on motor

If you over revved the motor back when it had 70,000 miles on it and it has made it all the way to 418,000 miles you probably didnt do any damage to anything crucial in the engine and if you had any kind of real "driving skills" you would not have miss shifted at 100 mph

first of all... if you blew your motor by missing a shift at that speed while driving like an ******* to a semi you deserve to blow the motor... why dont you try driving one of those trucks and see what its like.... i have never realized how many stupid *** people drive like idiots until i started driving... and i dont even drive them everyday

It means that when the rear tires force the motor to go above 5600 rpms it cuts fuel......
