so im siting in line to pick my brother up from summer school
and my AC al the sudden slows down i had it almost all the way cold and 1 click from high

then when i was driving home i smelled a gas smell coming through the AC

do i have a problem

could be a lot of things, unfortunately. exhaust leak from the manifold from the ac dripping on it seems to be the most common problem on 99-04s i see. or, it could be running rich, or not burning all of the fuel in your combustion chamber due to poor spark, or a bad 02 sensor, or a bad coil..id start by checking for the exhaust leak under the hood. if nothing is there, scan tool it, and see if any trouble codes come up. good luck.
