i dont see it being any less then what ford reports their windstar 3.8 as producing (200hp) which is a 50hp gain, without P&P...

i'm confused as to where you see it being cheaper... the problem im having is that nobody is really selling mustang split ports.. and if they are, they're asking to much for them... especially when compared to windstar parts..
Then you obviously have no clue what it takes to make the Windstar manifold work under a Mustang hood. Taking a Dremel to the Mustang manifold is far easier plus you can port it out further than the Windstar.

You make that sound easy to do it correctly... You can buy the windstar kit for the mustang for 300$

why did ford release 2 versions of the same intake?
Not 2 but 3:Mustang, Windstar and F150 (4.2L) - Later 2 are closer to design, but sized different.

Windstar intakes can't be ported. Stock for stock it will outflow the Mustangs.

Yes, it will not fit under the stock hood. It is not worth the money to do the swap.
