Took out the back seat to get into my convertible top motor to put fluid in it. Getting it out was difficult, but for the life of me I can NOT get the bottom part to snap in. I can't even figure out how it was fastened in there to begin with... the pegs look like they just sit in there without anything to attach to.

Any suggestions? Am I overthinking this?

You have prolly bent the latches that the posts clip into, where in VA are you located? Ill try to snap some pics for ya tomorrow.
