right v10 but with 8L, so viper would be faster anyway

The V10 in the truck is a waste in a car. For the cost of install, you can make double the power out of something else.
ya but its still a v10, remember more cylenders always means more power (blue smiley)

it probly weighs a lot too, might as well invest the money you would spend on the v10 and the installation to your 3.8

i have an f350 with the v10 in it too

oh also, you REALLY wont want that gas milage.

Ford's V10 put out 310 hp and 425 tq FLYWHEEL. With less than $2500 into a supercharger, your V6 could make that in an afternoon instead of dropping multiple thousands on the swap. Plus it would weigh less and run circles around a mustang with a boat anchor under the hood.

The 6.8L V10 was built as an alternative to the 7.3L diesel, back when both gasoline and diesel were cheap, but a diesel engine was an $8k upgrade.

The 6.8 has been wedged into the mustang, and it sucked. It was too heavy and the power wasn't there anyway.
