My buddy at school as a 2005-06 Rx-8. It does haul but it does need to get to higher RPMs. We've chased each other before, and I got him in the straightaways but he got me in most turns.
For real, he put like 10-15 grand into his car has the best suspension and grip I've ever got to drive. Hasn't done to much to the engine besides some bolt ons though.
