Default paint matching

I have to get my hood, front bumper, passenger side fender, and passenger side door painted due to a wreck. my car is a '98 though so I'm worried about the new paint matching the rest of the car.

I talked to a collision place today and they said that they would blend the left and right fenders to the hood and then detail the rest of the car to match the paint. is this the right way to do it? it will be too expensive to paint the entire car but I do want it to look as good as possible. fyi my car is white.

anybody go through this?

if a body shop is doing it they should do it right. you shouldnt be able to notice. if you do happen to really noctice tell them to redo it.

1998 White Mustang you say? the color you want is probably "Ultra White." I have already had the paint code pulled for my bumper not too long ago. I believe an auto-parts store can look it up for you. (Could be wrong)

I'd say just spend the little bit extra to get the whole car done

+1. I full paint job will always look better than a match job done by the same guy. Trust me, the color on my front end is just ever so slightly off thanks to a cheap (I'd assume) previous owner... it bugs the crap outta me.
