rear gears up grade question

Default rear gears up grade question

i've got a 03 v6 mustang i want to change out my slip Differential with a new
Ford Racing 7.5" 28 Spline Traction - LOK Limited Slip Differential and change my old gears to new Motive Performance Plus 3.73 Gears for 7.5in Rear are there any other parts i need to also get for this upgrade besides the tuner? and can me and my dad( hes an airplane mecahnic)do this by ourselfs or do i need to take it to a shop ?
how long would it take to do this ? (a list of materials will help)

if you are new to it, i would recommend taking it to a shop. changing the gear isnt bad, but can easily be done wrong. but if you are experienced and dont wanna pay a shop, go ahead and we will help you

well my dad is a mechanic on air planes and hes not new to car could we still do it?

yes yes i never said you couldnt. i just said its easy to mess up. but shops charge alot to do it. you can do it, just take it slow and be careful

no. just take the rear end cover off and get the job done. then put the cover back...dont forget the oil
