well dont you have to get it painted first?
and as for the back there is some retaining clips under the car and a few bolts behind the carpeted area in the trunk .. very easy to get off as for the side skirts i have never taken them off but i cant see it being hard |

DO NOT INSTALL IT UNTIL YOU'RE READY FOR PAINTING!!!!!!!!!!
Driving with the BK with just primer will ruin the primer and run the risk of damaging the kit. Only reason you should install it is for fitting purposes, then off it comes and into the shop it goes for painting. On the same note, do not paint it before it's mounted, one F up and you're either touching up spots, or painting twice. |
i heard saleen body kits dont always fit perfectly...maybe you got a lucky one
|
Only kits that will fit perfectly, or near perfect, are those from Saleen, the Stallion, and all other replica kits are just that, replicas and don't carry the same quality, or fit of a real Saleen. I have real Saleen side skirts, but due to the fact paint jobs cost a ton, and I'm currently more worried about my engine, the body work has been postphoned for a long while for me. When it's all said and done though I'll have:
Custom ABCexclusive Cobra front bumper Fender Flairs (owned) Side Scoops (on the car) Saleen S-351 wing (on the car) Saleen side skirts (owned) Saleen rear bumper S-351 Saleen hood |
indeed paint first..
you wileth not regreteth |
alright guys i have seen that it is difficult to get this body kit to fit on perfectly, i got the front and back bumpers on but they were a B*$$ to put on. extra drilling was required. but it's on now its going in to the shop for painting Monday. i'll post some pics up when its finished. thanks for ya'll advice

Ya i had a replica saleen kit that i got for 500 shipped, and even when fitted and painted by mechanics that handle hundred thousand dollar show cars, it still has a bunch of gaps.
