and a true response to the post is. you have slide tabs, the rear face forward and the front clips face to the back. the trick is finding the spot where it slides off. You will also have to remove the honeycomb piece (pull from top).
Trying to get a definitive answer on how the factory side scoops are attached to the body - nuts from the rear or push pins from the front? I have to remove one and don't want to break it or remove the rear seat/panel if it uses push pins. I've read the 2004 may be different than earlier years (don't see why Ford would change the mounting technique), but if anyone has removed their 2004 side scoops, would appreciate them posting what tey found. Thx!
From what I remember from being inside that panel recently is that it's push in pins, but you have to get at it from the inside so you can squeeze the pin together to push it out
