My car is going to hit 100k miles soon so I figured why not tune up the ignition system. So I was going to replace the coil pack, spark plugs, and wires. Just wondering what you guys reccomend for each. For the coil I was thinking either stock, duralast, or the screamin deamon one. Plus either coppers or ngk ix iridiums, and wires I was thinking msd unless you guys reccomend something thats better. Any advice would be great, thanks.

If your going to do it....

Just do SD coil & Livewires

and regular autolight or ngk plugs.

Yeah, not anything Bosch or any platinum plugs. Just coppers or iridium (which I have - Denso and feel like it's a waste - they are good, but copper is just as good for a bolt on car). So Autolite, Motorcraft, NGK, or Denso for plugs and MSD for wires - you can get them from Summit. Get the Accel coilpack or the Motorcraft one. I've heard a few problems with the SD.

I run an accel super coil, ngk v-power plugs, & accel blue 8mm wires. I'm real happy with all of it except the wires. The plug connecting ends keep coming off when I change the plugs. I think I'm gonna go back to the motorcrafts next tune up.

i have the accel coil pack, msd 8.8mm wires and ngk irids for plugs.

If you don't have any major mods, all you need is the basic stuff from Advanced... it's simple and cheap. No need to spend $$$$$$ on big brand names...
