STOCK!!!!!!!!!

There is your answer.

It's not the plugs that killing your power, it's your timing and air to fuel ratio. Get a tuner and that will let you make more power.

Wires aren't going to help either. Just throwing that out there.

I know that the wires wont help. the best one for the v6 is the factory ones. thats why i ask about the plugs. also my power is not being killed. everything that i have done has increased the power. like i said i want as much power as i can for now untill i can get a x-charger. it comes with a tuner, so why buy one now. plus i had a friend who went crazy with mods on his 07 v6, spent around $8K and i still out ran him. lol he even changed his rear end gears to 3.73 hahahahaha
if by chance that i do get a tuner........
what do you guys think about sct?

SCT is the only one I'd get... check out bamatunes.com (they are supposedly good tuning the s197 v6s) or vmptuning.com

Dude if he had 8k into that thing and you out ran him your either completely full of **** or your friend has down syndrome when it comes to driving.

his problem is that one he couldnt drive. two it spent way too much in mods that was unneeded. and three he didnt know how to use his programmer. he had a diablo. he had someone do a tune and he never went to test it on a dyno.
not to mention....I can drive. Monthly at the scca autocross. this year going to tuscalosa to the road track. next year... the dragon and more.

Nice, but what I ment is from the factory S-197s have horrible a/f ratios (10.5s are average), lean that out to abour 12.8 or so, and you'll gain a few ponies, bump the timing up a few degrees and you'll gain a few more. Point is, Ford could have done better for stock performance.
