Why not just do a split-port swap? It's not near as hard as it may sound. And the 94-98 6er's cam is slightly more aggressive than the Edge's also you'll have the benefit of actual exhaust headers, not a log manifold. So you'll actuall be making more power than the 99's 190hp... You may be sitting around 200-205.

I've actually got a split-port upper I could sell pretty cheap(obviously you'll need more but this would be a start), I don't need it because I used the Windstar upper to do my swap.

the main reason for the complete engine is i found a descent deal on one. i cant seem to find a complete split port swap. and its going to nickel a dime me to death on shipping trying to get the individual parts. and plus this way i save on buying the head gasket kit.

so you're going to pull and swap the engines yourself?? because if you don't you'll probably spend more in the end for the labor charges on a full engine swap.

Or i have this blower. The M90 really has quite the aftermarket, it's alot more than what most people think.

Why not buy the engine and do a split port swap off of that then part out the rest or save it for spare parts no point in swapping the whole motor for a top end just my .02 unless there is something wheong with your engine

That was what I was thinking as well. Want to do the split port swap
on mine, but with 138K on the motor, a bit concerned of opening it
up. Talked with Tom as SSM and he felt the same way. Now just gotta
save up for the SSM power pack, swap kit and most likely just going to
pick up a remanufactured short block.
