thx fink,
OMFG I FINALLY GOT IT TWISTED AND PUSHED IN.... i lost some blood twisting with these needle nose pliers, sent my thumb right into the rotor.
anyways, these two hook things sticking out of the pad, am i supposed to put them through the slot of the caliper? or just bold the caliper on?

See what you get for using pliers
If it's those spring like do dad things they go in the slot at the top of the caliper to give tension on the pads. Not sure exactly how they function cause to me they look like they do a whole lot of nothing.

You only need to bleed the brakes if you remove the calipers (in other words unplug the brake lines from the calipers). Aside from that there should be no reason to bleed the brakes cause, if everything is fine, then you should have no air bubbles in the lines.

Yea you dont need to bleed them, only if for some reason they feel spongy then you should try bleeding them... As for the needle nose vs tool.... I prefer bleeding cuts to spending $100 some odd dollars for a tool thats not 100% necessary... plus scares on my hands make me feel pretty BA

alright then, sounds good. another mission accomplished lol; but i've found an oil leak while doing this process, and my coolant has been "disappearing" but we'll save that for another thread by me lol. thanks for the walk-through fellas.
