Want to put in subs in addition to my Mach 460 setup

uggg im torn. i cant decide, the rockfords seem like a nicer more reliable sub but...
and with the box's what does internal box volume mean... cuz i see it from .7 in the mustang box to like 1.1 in the other box's

different subs sound better in certain boxes. so basicaly you want to somewhat match your subs volume requirement to the box and in this case with the box being .7 cu ft the rockford matches it closer. so if you can swing it get the rockfords http://www.millionbuy.com/rocp3d412.html

explain this line driver, and capacitor that you speak of yoda. i must know more! and is there any way i can install a sperate bass controler with this setup??
aslo neo, when u gonna fly up here and help me install all this. i hear dc is a nice place to visit!

lol ok the line driver is a small amplifier that connects between the headunit (radio) and you main amplifier. takes the 2.5volts from the headunit and ups it up to 10x gota be carefull with this though because more isnt better. basically you want to set the bass gain on the amplifier to about half, then adjust to line driver to the point that it hits its hardest and cant hit harder, then back it off a lil.
then the capacitor is just a giant capacitor like the one inside you computer except alot bigger and stores enough power to fry someone. what happens is when you don't have a capacitor everytime the amp hits it has to drag so much power from the battery at the front of the car and this causes a lil bit of strain and more importantly resistance, which lowers the level of power that your amp can produce. adding a capacitor is basically a box to hold power just for the amp. that way when it hits it can have as mays amps(the measure of amperage) i needs and allows for stronger hits. it also reduces and most the time eliminates the light dim associated with systems
if i remember correctly the kicker 300.1 mono block amps are made for subs, so they have a connection port to add there bass control ****. if the amp you buy doesnt come with one already
and for the flying out there well being a college student and all... you get the idea haha
