Or, I'll just go ahead and say it....

Since it's a V6 already, it's cheaper and easier to make the desired hp levels out of a V6 rather than waste the time/money of swapping in a V8.

Ok, ok guys I get it. I'm not looking to take the car to the strip. At this point I'm just trying to get ideas. This is my first Stang and actually my first "go-fast" car so it's all kinda new to me. I'm sure that a lot of the stuff mentioned earlier is waaaay outta my price range. I'll start with the six and see where that goes!
Thanks for all the suggestions but I think for now I'll take LilRoush's idea and run with that! LOL
