I can imagine how having a child can really put things into perspective in life.

Congrats Ryan!

For the powerwheels stuff there's a little set screw in the rear end that you take out and it goes faster, we did it to my goddaughter's mustang.

*****Update*****

I felt the baby move around today! I never thought I would be this excited, I had a pretty good idea, but everytime something new happens I'm just amazed that we've created our own little person to add to our family. I'm completely in awe

Take lots and lots of pics
Everything is exciting right now and its really important to get pics and video, thats one thing I wish we had more of.

Talk to him a lot and tell him about his racing future, see if you can get him to start working that clutch foot.

Cool Beans, your more then set for the awesome moments to come.

A lens that you should look into getting is the EF 50mm 1.4 as it is super fast and great for indoor photos so you dont get those blurred photos because the shutter speed was too slow due to a lack of aperture.

Its pretty reasonably priced at around $365 dollars, the cheaper and slightly slower version (50mm 1.8) is less than $100 but its cheap and can break easily and isnt as sharp or fast, bokeh is also better on the 1.4.

For outside and brighter indoor stuff the 70-200mm F4 IS L would be a perfect family and sports lens, its freakin stupid sharp and fast AF!
The 2.8 version is faster but isnt quite as sharp wide open, and its about $500 more.

What lenses do you already have? Which ones are you looking to get?

I honestly can't remember what lens I have now, but it's perfect for indoor, portraits, and fast motion in low light. The only other lens I want now, and have been wanting is about $800, and not a high priority by any means lol.

Welp there are a few kit lenses out there depending on what Camera you bought with it.

Here is a link over at my photography forums for the 50mm 1.4 and the 70-200mm F4 IS L These have hundreds of sample photos in them from different bodies and scenes.

Here is a link that will take you to all the other lenses that we archive on our forum. Lots of good stuff there.
