I'd go bigger on the exhaust side. But it's not a bad cam.

Richbrad08 03-03-2010 07:20 PM

can i use my stock heads with this cam?

Shaunmac9128 03-03-2010 07:24 PM

Will probably need new springs/retainers. Not positive though.

ok so i got the cam 115 shipped to me. So now i be on the hunt for a lower ported intake and probably some heads, or can i do anything to my heads that will make them better.

lol i probably should concentrate on my interior because i need a new top due to a window leak, and new carpet and new seats lol.....

That cam will be better than stock for the M112 but like Matt said I have seen people go bigger on the exhaust side. A ported lower will help, so will some slightly ported heads even. Keep your eye out in the classifieds over on V6power. If you need new seats, my vote is get yourself a set of corbeau's with manual racks. I think the weight savings is like 50lbs all together if your stock seat was electronic. I would get the top done if you have the money too.

ya getting the heads would be nice but i think i am going to get a brand new top and install it, then probably buy the carpet and seats at the same time.

Richbrad08 03-04-2010 05:37 PM

can anything be done to the cam to make it better?

neo8222 03-04-2010 06:31 PM

nope, can't add metal to it

Richbrad08 03-04-2010 08:19 PM

lol...well i guess i will have it in storage till i can afford a nice set of heads. most heads at v6 power were ported by someone looking for a more reputable name.
