Default Brake Fluid leak?

A lot of times when I hit my brakes my pedal makes a weird sound like a thumping sound, almost like the sound you hear when the ABS kicks in... However, the brakes seem to be tripping or something lol idk I can't explain it... I checked my brake fluid level and it was a little low so I added some... I added it last weekend and checked it last night and found that I lost more fluid... I was stopping earlier today and my brake pedal became hard and was very hard to stop... then when it finally kicks in, I hear the air hissing from the pedal... Does anyone know what the problem could be?

Try bleeding your brake lines? Are your rotors warped? Just some ideas.

pull the vac line from the brake booster and see if it is wet with brake fluid. Losing boost and air hissing from the pedal makes me think the booster is going away.

A friend was telling me about the booster... and I hope my rotors are ok, I replaced rear ones 6 months ago! Ahh but yeah I'm gonna have to bleed the lines again

well the brake system is sealed, the fluid is going somewhere. If you have air in the abs pump, have fun with that, I think a shop HAS to do it. Go ahead and get the car on some jackstands and hunt down that leak, your life depends on it.
