Hi, well i had 2 thrush welded series mufflers put on and ive noticed a bad rattle when i start it up cold and occasionally at idle and low rpms, im almost positive it is the thrush because i had gt take off mufflers before and never had that problem and have read online that it is a common problem with the dynomax brand in general, and i called up dynomax and they said they would ship me a replacement, but my delima is knowing weither it is just one or both, or maybe not at all... im not sure how to tell which one it is or both, any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Might be something loose (like excess from welding) rattling on the inside.
Crawl under the car and tap both...see what rattles. Could also just be a loose bolt at an exhaust flange.

Well last week i took it to my mechanic and i had him put it on the lift and we shock everything for a good 10 mins and looked around and everything seemed solid, there was one lose clamp he bolted it up and he said that was the rattling, and it stopped some of it but it still rattles pretty bad, but ill check it again though

my car keeps blowing the baffles out of any muffler i put on and it rattle like that i finaly gave up trying to fix it lol

ohh ok, well i talked with the people at thrush and they said they would replace them for free so its only a few bucks for the swap but if it still rattles and stuff im just gonna leave it be
