Default new to forum current draw issues

hello, my name is michelle, i have a 94 mustang that has a 4.5amp current draw on the eec circuit when the key is off. i have disconnected all the wires on the alternator, all the fuses for the hood lamps, dome lamps ect. the 20amp fuse for the eec under the hood seems to be where im getting my draw from. when i pull the eec fuse it drops to a few miliamps. it seems like the computer is staying powered on at all times. i even disconnected the ignition switch harness under the column, and the ccrm harness. i have most of the diagrams but i was hoping maybe some of you guys might be able to help a lady in distress. im at a loss here, i need my car running so i can get to work! help!

going off the top of my head here, but the red wire that goes into the coil pack on the engine is the one that triggers the ignition and a believe the computer too check to see if that wire has power even when the key is off (test light, from the sound of the way you talk I'm sure you know how to use one) if it does then you get to go for the wire hunt for the short or cross
