Default ok, another cat / pre cat question

ok, i know that the 95 has 4 cats, 2 pre and 2 cats.
can i remove all four and then get two new highflow cats that do the work of the four? i am guessing in the 15 years since my car was made some advancement has been made to trim the system down.

plus i am on a little bit of a budget, i am looking to do divorced duals and i have to replace the main cats anyway. so i am looking to cut down on materials.

i tried the search but found no real answers.

what i was thinking of getting if all i need was 2

thanks.

yeah 2 is just fine, ive heard of a few people just cutting off the rear 2, because you gotta have atleast one cat per pipe in most states. and most gts cut off all and go with 2 so your good.
