01 Clutch pedal noise.
I have an 01 mustang v6, shes a 5 speed. Notices about a week ago if the car is running and you press the clutch pedal down past half way she will make this grinding kind of noise. My first thought is my throw out bearing is going out just looking to see is anyone has had the same issue if so how was it resolved.

Turns out the noise is my starter. Not sure why but my clutch pedal and my starter are connected as one? Like as in when my key is on the on position I can press my clutch pedal in and start my car... not sure how or why

Sounds like a problem with the ignition switch. It's energizing the starter circuit even when the key is released to the RUN position, and the clutch switch is the only thing preventing it from sending power to the starter.
