If it's got duals it means someone installed the dual exhaust after the car was purchased.

EDIT: I couldn't disagree more with those saying to leave it stock. Sure you'll lose money in the end, but modding my car through high school kept me busy and taught me quite a bit about working on cars. It's a good experience and has kept me happy.

on another note the new accord is 5 years old and has almost 50k miles on it so I'm swapping out the tranny fluid for amsoil synchromesh, how often do you guys change it? I've heard swapping the manual trans fluid can make it smoother in general and especially on cold start shifts.

200 miles on the tank with 1/4 left is usually what I get. sometimes lower, sometimes higher.

yea i agree. if you are planning on keeping the car for a good while and understand that youll never get the money back that you put in, then i say go for it. you can spend less money in modding than you will on a new car, especially after interest and full coverage insurance. as long as you know youll be happy with the car in ten years then it really shouldnt matter what you put into it

I know what you mean about the "fast friends cars" thing. I've got a but with a Twin Turbo 3000gt, and a bud with a wrx sti, factory turbo. However, I could buy six mustangs for the price of what they paid for their vehicles, and I would definitely do so.

Modding you car is a very fun pasttime, and you learn a lot about your car in a short amount of time. I would say go for it, what have you got to lose?
