NEED HELP WITH CARFAX
#11
I told you. What are you talking about exhaust???? Leave that thing alone!!! Just stock is enough to automatically own nearly anything on the road.... Unless a GT-r rolls up, then you better run!!!! ha ha.
BTW, a couple of years ago, I read an article where they called the srt4, the best under-the-radar stealth sports car for the money. Take the spoiler off, and you can highway commute every day and johnny law just looks the other way. Then on the weekends, go tear it up. So, good interim car....... Hell, Great interim car.

BAH!
Get a real NISMO!
94/95 300ZX TT with the electric Super HICAS
OR
90-96 300ZX 2+2 Converted to a TT or Q45 swap.
I am quite the fan of converted 2+2's but they arent worth as much unless a full widebody kit has been put on correctly which from start to end is about $10,000.
I watched this Z come up on ebay a couple years ago, its about as complete as a build as you can get, I dont think anything was stock on this car.
It got up to about $80k with a buy it now of $120k if I remember right.
It didnt hit the reserve but its still crazy that it got that high.
A Great and low mile 94/95 TT runs in the teens usually but some have dipped below $10k.
I would rather have that than a 350Z any day.
But thats its, give me 370Z's and G37 coupes after that.

makes me want to smack myself in the back of the head...
two weeks ago I came extremely close to buying a BONE STOCK 1990 300zx twin turbo with 60k miles and it was literally factory condition... not a single rock chip or scratch or anything, all service records and original window sticker and owners manuals... 9900 dollars. I LOOOVE those cars

Damn, thats a good price for those miles and condition.
It was said back in 1990 and has been said time and time again, "Z's are an instant classic."
Since all the ultra low mile Z's and TTZ's have been stashed away by collectors these are going to start coming back up in price.
My wife paid $5000 for hers back in 2004 and if we were to buy another 93' 2+2 in the same condition we would be looking to spend the same amount.
As long as they are either low mile or perfectly maintained with records they hold their value very well.
Low mile TT's have become investments for some and with such limited US production they are rare and unless you dont beat your car and keep very good care of it you wont lose money.

He is a spammer, click his name and look at his other posts.
I reported him twice and I commented on what he said about your idea.
Lets hope he is perma-banned soon.
The only time he broke from a couple words per post is when someone called him a troll.
btw... I would much rather have a VG30DETT, the car handles better from my exp but both are very close, looks better and didnt need a crappy movie to rocket it to cult status.
Btw, by handling better I mean that I MYSELF liked the feel, ride and control better than the Supra but if you search around tests and so forth its a pretty close match. This was also in a 2+2 Z32 which does not have HICAS and also has a lower gear ratior.
Here are some quick specs between the two, the Supra of course beats it, also the engine is more stout and easier to work on, but I still love my Z32.
300ZX-----Supra
Weight~ 3518----- 3445
HP~ 300----- 320
Torque~ 283----- 315
Engine~ DOHC V6----- DOHC Inline 6
Transmission~ 5 Speed manual----- 6 speed manual
City/Hwy MPG~ 18/24----- 17/23
Wheels~ 16"----- 17"
Doors/Seats~ 2/2----- 2/4
0-60 mph~ 5.2----- 4.9 (from Motor Trend 7/93)
Quarter Mile~ 13.8----- 13.4 (from Motor Trend 7/93)
Both assembled in Japan
Things I did hate about the Z32 from first hand exp.
*Crappy transmission, auto or manual and hydrolic clutch issues.
*Fuel injectors like to die easily and at any time or age, 93+ got a little better but hers still had a few die.
*Pressure lines on the power steering like to blow and are expensive.
*Insane cost of doing a 120k timing chain maint. $600 for the parts, $1500+ for labor and its a bitch and a half to do it yourself.
*Inadequate brakes.
*Cost of updating the AC system on earlier Z's.
*Electronic HVAC bugs like blowing all the time and dim LCD.
*ABS issues that are hard to track down.
*Just about anything rubber from hoses to bushings to weather seals need to be replaced.
*Misc engine sensors start dieing at this age and plugs are very brittle and hard to track down new plugs.
*Very hard to work on thanks to lack of space, large hands need not apply.
I havnt experianced it but 90-93 TTZ's can have some real problems with the HICAS.
