You could do it that way, but I prefer to pull the radiator hose at the bottom of the motor. The rest of the fluid will come out quickly, and its a lot easier to get to then the plug on the side of the motor. I think there are two plugs btw (one on each side)

I don't know the exact amounts. Best to buy 2 or 3 jugs of pure anti-freeze, which will make 4 to 6 gallons when mixed 50:50 with water. I also prefer distilled water over tap (less contaminants in the water). If you don't want to mix your own, you can buy jugs of pre-mixed antifreeze, but your just paying extra for water… Good luck…

actually suprisingly the advanced auto parts by my house sells their brand pre mixed for $5 cheaper then pure antifreeze. So my final question is this cause I wanna make sure I understand something. The bottom hose coming out of the radiator, is that going to drain the fluid out of the block too? Cause thats the hose I gotta replace. Just wanna make sure i do it right lol

i flushed mine, its called a garden hose, keep draining the rad and refilling till it has all water in the system, allowing it to circulated when the tstat opens, after you have pure clean water re drain and refill with straight antifreeze, it will mix with the water in the system and should come out to just about the perfect level, you can test it to see if you need more water or anti freeze
