Default Inner Steering Wheel Broken, Any way to remove?

So i own a 2003 Mustang that i bought used. When i bought it, the horn was blown and the cruise control and 3rd gear shift button all didnt work. I was told by the person who sold it to me that it was the clock spring and where to order it and that installation should be no problem since i had just installed the stereo.

Well, after following videos online, i used the wrong wrench apparently (socket instead of torque) and broke part of the inner steering wheel where the pull kit would be used. Now the screws for the pull kit wont secure to the steering wheel and i could not get it off. Does anyone know of anyway to get around this? i Have the clock spring.

Thanks
