Default 2001 3.8 replacing fuel pump and other question

Fuel pump died in a 2001 3.8

However key on, engine off no power to pump from CCRM.

I gave the pump 12+power to its power wire-no sound just a spark, so I know its dead.

My concern, is after, replacing the dead pump, the no power issue, and im kinda new to these newer years, just need to know how to remove the pump and what to look for, as far as the CCRM Location and testing for the no power.

Couldnt find a TSB or article, but heard this is a common issue.

Car runs fine on ether

Try the V6 section.... but usually on the 3.8 fuel pumps, it's the hose right on the pump that splits. It kicks the fuel right back into the tank instead of up to the motor. It's not actually a pump going bad. Removal is easy. Drop the tank, unbolt the lid from the top of the fuel tank and pull the pump out. It will take about 2 seconds to see if the hose split or not.
