Default 02 Mustang dies and won't retart

I am new to the forum and need assistance. I had to get my mustang towed to my house last night as it died while idling. Just prior to the stall, it had some weird activities like dimming of radio and dash lights. After it stalled, I attempted to restart but it wouldn't. Once towed to my house, I attempted to start but all it would do is "click click click" noise like the battery was dead. I pulled the battery and had a bench test done to it and it passed.

After the test passed, I placed the battery back in the car and THE MUSTANG STARTED?!!!

I am stumped by this and do not know where to start. I don't want to be Anyone else have this problem?

I've had some of those problems in my past. One of them is when I meet a girl, she is all frisky and freaky. Some may even say she is a "tart". But after a while, she stops with the sexy and gets all jealous..... All I want is a little wildness every now and then. But, every time I ask, she just won't "retart"....... So, I guess me and your car are in the same boat.

Our mechanic said ours was fine too. Took it to a alternator guy who has been doing them for 50 years or more. Had 2 diodes bad and such.

Most testers cannot detect a damaged diode or failed solder contacts.

Rule of thumb: Battery gets your car started. Alternator keeps it going.

Alternator. eBay, $125. Or you can get it from Autozone for about $214 after you return the core.

(I just got mine, please pray for me that it doesn't kill my car. The ebayer I got it from though has good feedback on his stuff.)

So if I disconnect the battery while the car is idling, the engine should stall therefore indicating a bad alternator. If, however it stays running, that would mean a bad battery, correct?

Happened to me this morning but it was just because of a bad contact on negative wire. Pushed it back in and it started. Did you check to see if wires are coming lose from terminals? At least I'm hoping its as simple as that
