Hey everyone the names Josh, im 19 years old and live up in hamilton, ON Canada. I just recently sold my Mazda rx-8 to buy an 01 supercharged v6 mustang. and i would like to ask if someone could tell me how to get it out of theft mode ?

What happen to put it in theft mode? My first thought is to pull the battery for 1/2 hour to let the ECU reset itself. If that doesnt work you might have to plug in a scanner and see if that can over ride the theft code. BTW - can we see some pics?

Yeah, completely unplug the battery and see if it will reset the ECU. Another thing you can do is take off the passenger side interior kick panel and pull out the ECU, unplug it, and plug it back in. Getting the ECU out isn't eactly easy cause of the tight space but it could help.
If none of that works then you may need to call up Ford and see if they have any ideas.

I hope the car was running before you bought it.
I had mine glitch on me once, what I did was let it sit for a minute then I put the key in and slowly turned it on.
It picked up the chip in the key and started.
Why did you get rid of the RX8? I like those.
