2002 convertable top cylinder replacement

2002 convertable top cylinder replacement
I've removed the rear seat and side panel to expose the cylinder, is there a site to show removal of the "cylinder". From the cylinders I"ve looked up on line they dont have any brackets attached to them. Dose the cylinder just unscrew from the bracket? or do you have to remove the brackets also. Please advise of a sites showing the removal of this, If anyone has any advise,please show me the way
