Default My Bilstein struts have slightly different part #'s??

So I ordered my Bilstein shocks and struts, got them yesterday, but on the struts the part numbers have a different number on the end.

One says F4-V36-4138-H5, the other is the same except ends with H1.

After searching online Ive noticed that there are some that also end with H3?

Also the one I have that ends with H1 also looks older and the boot is slightly discolored so Im thinking its an earlier version or something but anyone actually know whats the difference and if its okay for me to use them?

Searching the Bilstein catalog only comes back with one number, the H5.

In the Summit Racing catalog, they still list the H1, but it is no longer available. They suggest a "similar" part, the newest number for the H5 model, BSN-35-041382, which is consistent with the Bilstein catalog.

Before installing, you should contact Bilstein directly to find out if there were any changes to this product between the H1 number and the H5. Apart from that, I would return the old number to your retailer and ask for the newest, either H5 or the new BSN number. A minor revision in a strut could cause undesireable handling if not matched left to right.
