anybody think these mods were worth it?
Hey guys! I got a 1999 Mustang sixer that I've done some mods to. I've installed flowmaster 40s with an off road x pipe and mil eliminator. A k&n cold air system with bbl shorties. What kind of hp am I looking at now? Compared to what it was? Thanks!

only thing that did nothing for you was the bbk shorties, other then that not to much of an increase. Intake maybe 1 - 3hp and exhaust maybe 15-20? That would be from 190 to a tops of 213 on a good cool day.

You didn't mention a tune so that would be something to consider next to boost your performance. I ask myself the same question about the mods I've made. But I enjoy doing it even if the gains are small. It's all good!

Ohh. The shorts didn't help? I had gotten em only because of the exhaust manifold being cracked due to the air condition vent dripping on to the passenger side. I want a tune but I know absolitly nothing or even where to start. Im scared ill mess my baby up!

My recommendation is just keep it the way it is. A tune with the mods you have done will not do and big numbers either. Possibly go with a windstar upper swap or cam and then do a small tune. The tune you should go with a Diablo or Svt tuner, i prefer Svt. Then search for tuners in your area.

Very feasible. Question - are you 5 speed, or Auto? BEST mod (in my humble oppinion) is a good set of gears and posi unit. You will feel it instintly. You could also do a UDP if you want to stay away from tearing into the motor to much. What is your budget by the way?
