Installing gt take off catted h pipe on mustang v6
First question would be if it would even work, i have no idea. But about a couple of weeks ago i took of my main cats from my mustang v6. My gas mileage and proformance have dropped too and wanted it back. So i found on craigslist for 40 bucks a complete catted gt take off h pipe. Might be worth installing because it would almost come out as free, instead of buying high flows. I can sell the other 2 precats for 44 at a local junk yard. Plus the h pipe might add better sound, ive currently got divorced duals, so would it be better go go with the catted h pipe or just 2 high flows? i think the high flows some off name brand but my mechanic said it was about 80 for the pair he has.

umm correct me if im wrong but i always thought that taking off the cats removes restriction of the exhuast system increasing air flow/ increasing performance... tha gas milegae makes sense tho.
the take offs should fit me thinks tho im not sure about that.
and its definetly not worth getting hi flow cats. imo

the Gt h pipe wont fit our v6 directly. where it bolts to the headers need to be narrowed up to line up correctly.
Ward--on a v8 less restriction=more power but on our v6 we need that little bit of backpressure from the cats or we lose our tq numbers

OMNG WARD you are a total retard. Stay OUT of this section
Cheap cats probably won't last long, so start saving for some good ones. Also be prepared to replace your O2 sensors that are probably going to be damaged pretty soon too.
