My friend has a 2004 V6 and wants to remove the headlight cover lenses to buff them from the inside. He said he buffed the outside but needs to get inside to make them clear again.
Can they be removed and if so, how?
I may be wrong and corrected by someone else but I have never heard of anyone buffing the inside. All you do is buy the restoration kit and follow the directions, which you sand and buff the outside. That is what I did to my headlights and third brake light. Came out great.
They do come apart. I've read about people taking them apart to get moisture out of them. It's possible his have a bad seal and have dust or dirt coating the inside of them.
